Observation Decks in Tokyo

It is highly recommended to visit an observation deck tower to see the big picture of metropolitan Tokyo! It is awesome at daytime, you may even see Mt. Fuji in the distance on a clear day if you’re lucky as well as the sunset or densely illuminated evening lights. There are 4 typical observation decks in Tokyo.

It is 333m high and there are two observation decks at 150m and 250m. There also is a little aquarium to enjoy. Admission is from 600-820 yen depending on the level you’d like to go up to. Roppongi Hills Sky Deck

Roppongi is famous for its night life – packed with bars, night clubs and restaurants. It may be an idea to go to Roppongi Hills observation deck (270m from the ground) around sunset to evening hours to enjoy the illuminated views and then unleash yourself to Tokyo’s night life in Roppongi afterwards! You can check more about Roppongi here. Admission for the observatory deck is from 1,200 yen (+ 500 yen for Sky Deck) and you can see Tokyo Tower nearby from here.
